Trying To Find The Words

The events of the last several weeks have shaken me in my Spirit and caused me to examine closely what scripture says in regards to how we relate to mankind.
A few scriptures come to mind both in the Old and the New Testament regarding the issues of our day.

Relating to Race.

God cared DEEPLY about His Children that HE created.  The scripture says in Philippians 2:10-11 and Romans 14:11,  "Every knee shall bow, EVERY TONGUE confess that Jesus Christ is Lord."
That means every man, every nation, every dialect.  God is the maker of the Heavens and the Earth.
HE IS LORD OF IT ALL.
He also made laws regarding the kidnapping of mankind.  It was ILLEGAL and worthy of death.
"“He who kidnaps a man and sells him, or if he is found in his hand, shall ... "Whoever kidnaps someone, either to sell him or to keep him as a slave, is to be put to death ...Exodus 21:16.

The TYPE of slavery people are claiming is in the bible with full approval is NOT there folks! Sorry!
Did men MISUSE scripture as in the new testament where it say, "Slaves obey your masters?"  YES.
Ephesians 6:5. 
Scripture does indeed say this, as slavery was rampant and continues to be in the Middle East.  But slaves were not the kind of slaves that were brought over on ships to America.  Many people sold themselves or family members into slavery in order to pay debts.  Slavery was not permanent! 

Moses married an Ethiopian woman and Miriam complained and God struck her with leoprosy until she repented. God does NOT approve of judging another by the color of their skin!
HE cares about the hearts of men.

There is a tiny little book in the new testament about a runaway slave called Onesimus.  Paul has a good relationship with him, but finds out he is a slave. He tells him to return, and then calls upon Philemon to consider him a BROTHER in Christ, and asks him to free him, as Onesimus was very helpful to Paul.

And then there are the very scriptures we should and MUST live by today!
Galatians 3:28

"There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus."

And then Ephesians 2:11-22

One in Christ

11 Therefore remember that at one time you Gentiles in the flesh, called “the uncircumcision” by what is called ^kthe circumcision, which is made in the flesh by hands— 12 remember ^lthat you were at that time separated from Christ, ^malienated from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers to ⁿthe covenants of promise, ^ohaving no hope and without God in the world. 13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were ^pfar off have been brought near ^qby the blood of Christ. 14 For ^rhe himself is our peace, ^swho has made us both one and has broken down ^tin his flesh the dividing wall of hostility 15 by abolishing the law of commandments expressed in ^uordinances, that he might create in himself one ^vnew man in place of the two, so making peace, 16 and might ^wreconcile us both to God in one body through the cross, thereby killing the hostility. 17 And he came and ^xpreached peace to you who were ^yfar off and peace to those who were ^znear. 18 For ^athrough him we both have ^baccess in ^cone Spirit to the Father. 19 So then you are no longer ^dstrangers and aliens,¹ but you are ^efellow citizens with the saints and ^fmembers of the household of God, 20 ^gbuilt on the foundation of the ^hapostles and prophets, ⁱChrist Jesus himself being ^jthe cornerstone, 21 ^kin whom the whole structure, being joined together, grows into ^la holy temple in the Lord. 22 In him ^myou also are being built together ⁿinto a dwelling place for God by² the Spirit.

So since we are ONE in CHRIST,  let's act like it!  There is NO WAY ANYBODY should be able to sit in a church where the gospel of Jesus Christ is preached and remain a racist no matter his ethnic origin.
IF YOU can sit in your church and be comfortable with racism, you are not hearing the gospel preached.
If you are sitting your your church and the leadership is practicing racism, they are PARTED from the Gospel.  LEAVE.

IF YOU ARE RACIST, no matter your ORIGIN, STOP IT.  REPENT.

And now, regarding COVID.

We are not going to be on this planet one day longer than God allows.  But we are also to take good care of ourselves.  Please be considerate of others.  The virus is real.  Please allow for proper discourse regarding all this as it has been terribly confusing and we have been lied to, then told the truth, then lied to and nobody trusts what anybody else is saying. 
So follow your grammas advice and eat your vegetables, get rest and pray.
