He's Here!

He's here!
I cannot imagine what it must have been like to be looking for the coming of the Messiah, and then, for it to be made known, "He's here!" In my time, in my town, in my hopelessness and despair, He arrived.
The King of Kings and Lord of Lords arrived.
For Mary, to hold, nurture, nurse, and care for the creator of the world, must have been mind blowing, and as she pondered all the things that happened in her heart, she truly must have known, she was blessed among women.
So the Creator of the World entered His own creation, to come and die out of love for His own creation.
As we celebrate His birth, and remember that sweet moment that Heaven came down to earth in the form of a baby boy,
and Angels sang "Hosanna in the Highest and on earth, peace and good will towards men"....
Also remember, he didn't remain a baby in a manger.
That same baby hung on a Roman Cross, condemned to death as an innocent man, without sin; He was crucified for our sins. One sacrifice, for all, not the blood of bulls or goats, but the perfect, unstained by sin, Blood of our precious redeemer, and by His blood, we are healed.
What a blessed event... what a blessed truth!
And I wonder, when He returns, will we be prepared?
This time, He won't be coming as a baby. He will be coming to judge the living and the dead; because He triumphed over Sin and Death....
